Based in Suita, Osaka. We install and maintain the AI servers on site, and we are close enough to come in person when something needs attention.

Daniel is a specialist in high-performance systems and computer vision with over 20 years of experience in technology for the creative industries. Before founding Hakoteca, he led R&D and volumetric pipelines at Intel Corporation and Netflix (Eyeline Studios). A Lumiere Award winner and patent holder in volumetric color assignment. At Hakoteca, Daniel leads the technical architecture: how the AI runs inside the customer’s office, which data it may see, and how every answer is traced back to its source.

Bilingual administration, logistics, bookkeeping, and business coordination.

Satomi leads the foundational operations and business coordination at Hakoteca. Born in Japan and trained professionally in Los Angeles, she spent two decades managing creative studios and complex international logistics. At Hakoteca she handles bilingual administration, bookkeeping, logistics and coordination with customers and partners in Japan.
